perform the story

Plotters invent the plot, based on certain narrative constraints. Each plotter is responsible for one episode in a long, developing story. A new episode will be posted every two weeks.

The plot of your episode must be shorter than 150 words. Plotters must observe the following game rules.

Click here to submit your plot.

P R I Z E S

If we choose your plot, it will enter the BEST PLOT competition.

1st place: $300
2nd place: $100 + a surprize
3rd place: a surprize

More on our competitions.

Your task as a performer is to interpret the plot: write it, draw it, shoot it, animate it, act it, sing it, anything it. You perform one episode at a time.

How faithful should you be to the plot? How much freedom of interpretation do you have? The basic rule is this: if someone were to write a synopsis of your episode performance, it would closely resemble, or be identical to, the plot of that episode.
